We recommend the next steps to become a student of PGEEC.

  1. Go to the faculty lists read about their research fields and pick your areas of interest: https://www5.unioeste.br/portalunioeste/pos/pgeec/traducao/electrical-engineering-computing/faculty
  2. Contact the professor(s) of your choice and explain what you want to accomplish on PGEEC, all professors are fluent in reading and writing in English and Spanish, so, there is no need-to-know Portuguese at that moment. DO THIS AT LEAST SIX MONTHS BEFORE YOUR DESIRED START DATE.
  3. In case one of the professors agrees to be your advisor, it will be much easier to send translated documents and explain all the migration documentation necessary, besides the university enrollment process.
  4. Apply for the admission process at the appropriate time.

Although it is possible to enter the admission process without an advisor, we do not recommend it. The advisor could help during the process and facilitate things.
